LEED Core and Shell Gold Certification was a primary design goal during the planning process for Jamieson Place. LEED� (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) is a green building rating system administered by the non-profit US Green Building Council. There are 61 possible LEED points achievable in six categories: Sustainable Sites, Water Efficiency, Energy & Atmosphere, Materials & Resources, Indoor Environment, and Innovation & Design. LEED-CS (Core and Shell) is a rating system for speculative buildings in which finishes will be designed and installed by future tenants.
